The purpose of processing your data
We are handling your personal data for the following purposes:
- Processing of application for admission to a Bachelor programme
- Processing of application for dispensation in relation to an application for admission to a Bachelor programme
- Processing an appeal against rejection of admission
- Processing an appeal against rejection of dispensation
- Statistical purposes
We process the following personal data:
General personal data (see General Data Protection Regulation Article 6(1) (a))
- Name
- Address
- Email address
- Phone number
- Gender
- Age
- Nationality
- Residence
- Information about employment
- Information about education and exams
Sensitive personal data (see General Data Protection Regulation Article 9(2) (a))
Health information is handled in regard to application of dispensation and in regard of information to you about the possibility to apply for Special Educational Support.
Information about criminal offence (see General Data Protection Regulation Article 10)
Information about criminal offence is handled if the applicant is applying for dispensation
Your CPR number (See General Data Protection Regulation § 11, 1)
How we store your data
We will store your personal data for as long as necessary for the data processing purpose for which we are obtaining your consent and in accordance with the applicable legislation. We will then then archive your personal data in accordance with archive legislation. If we are not obliged to archive them, we will erase or anonymize your personal data instead.
Your rights
When we process your personal data, you have several rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. For example, you have a right to erasure and a right to data portability.
In certain cases, you have a right of access, a right to rectification, a right to restriction of processing and a right to object to our processing of the personal data in question.
Be aware that you cannot withdraw your consent with retroactive effect.
