Once a year, NOVI awards the NOVI Scholarship to the 9th¨C10th semester student(s) who can present a business idea with such sustainable potential that the concept can be transformed into a company at NOVI in Aalborg.

The NOVI Scholarship is awarded annually at Aalborg University's Annual Celebration.

Winner of the NOVI Scholarship in 2025

This year, the scholarship went to Alan Mozafar Khorsid, Esben Nielsen and Mikkel Dalsager Jungersen, the creators of Alai. A platform that uses real-time data to analyze and predict strategic opportunities and identify vulnerabilities during football matches. 

Despite the company's youth, Alai has quickly established collaborations with several Danish football clubs like F.C. Copenhagen, Br?ndby IF, AaB and Randers FC. They are also in dialogue with several Premier League clubs.
